Our Local History Series

We’re pleased to present to you Our Local History series done in conjunction with the Santa Fe Trails Historical Society. Local storyteller Danny McMillen will be bringing the past alive as he shares stories about growing up in Douglas County, Kansas. Come and hear about growing up in the town of Lone Star – fishing, hunting, and playing without a care in the world. He’ll even introduce you to the ghost of Bowersock Dam on the Kansas River!
