DESCRIPTION:The Baldwin City Library and The Santa Fe Trail Historical Society of Douglas County\, KS come together to present Our Local History – a series that explores history right in your back yard.\n\nAlan Van Loenen\, of the Btry B\, 3rd KS – Light Artillery Reenactment Unit will be bringing American Civil War uniforms and equipment to display. These items are mostly reproductions but are exact reproductions like those used during the American Civil War 1861- 1865. He will also have a couple of reproduction Civil War weapons for part of my program.\n\nAngie Spielman will bring their replica of an Underground Railroad Quilt.
